A casual Friday note from Junonia

Sometimes the best paths to fitness are the simplest ones. According to a study sponsored by the American Council on Exercise, office workers took 8% more steps during work hours when dressed in jeans and casual attire than they did in more formal business clothing. That adds up to 491 extra steps taken and 25 more calories burned per day, just by by making a simple clothing change. We know not everyone has the luxury of choosing what they wear to work, but for those who can, it's an easy adjustment that can lead to a more active, enjoyable life.

Have a happy Friday!
